ABOUT THIS FILE

This file contains updates to the Local Area Network Support Program (LSP)
NDIS Version 1.0 User's Guide specific to LSP NDIS 1.01.

LSP NDIS 1.01 CHANGES

The following changes were made in LSP NDIS 1.01:
o DXMJ0MOD.SYS
- The default value for NETBIOSRETRIES was changed. The new value for
the default NETBIOSRETRIES is 2. The old value was 8.
o DXME0MOD.SYS
- DXME0MOD.SYS supports a new global command line parameter. The
parameter is "P". If this parameter is specified, then DXME0MOD.SYS
will issue a CloseAdapter request to the NDIS MAC driver on
DIR.CLOSE.ADAPTER command if DXME0MOD.SYS had to issued an
OpenAdapter on the previous DIR.OPEN.ADAPTER command. By coding the
"P" command line parameter, the locally administered address for the
adapter can be changed without rebooting the machine.
