金田一京助の影響を受けた15歳のアイヌの少女、知里幸恵がローマ字と日本語訳で編纂した13編の『アイヌ神謡集』は、約4年の歳月をかけて1922年に完成。完成したその夜に幸恵は心臓病により急逝してしまうが、死の翌年の1923年に出版され今に至るも多くの人に歌い継がれ、永遠のベストセラーとなっている。その神謡をイチオン(ICHION)がアイヌ神話が色濃く残る現地で歌入れ、制作されたアルバム。 (C)RS
