商品の説明新潟は米処ですが、大吟醸用の酒米となると圧倒的な人気を誇る「山田錦」が主流です。今も品評会の出品酒の多くは「山田錦」を使った日本酒が第一党です。「山田錦」の生育には兵庫県をはじめとした西日本に適性地が多く、新潟の酒蔵の多くは兵庫県から「山田錦」を取り寄せて大吟醸を仕込んでいました。そこで、米処新潟の威信をかけて開発したのが新しい酒米「越淡麗 こしたんれい」です。新潟で栽培が始まってから十余年となりますが、毎年毎年、酒造組合・農協・農家・酒蔵が研究を重ねて日進月歩で成長させています。せっかくこれだけ情熱をかけて苦労して育てた「越淡麗」。農家さんが自信をもって、自慢したくなる“格好良くて美味しい日本酒”を造りたい。そう願い仕込んだお酒です。
