【商品情報】エクスバリーアザレアは2mになる落葉低木です。イギリス原産です。葉は花はトランペット状で大輪です。レンゲツツジに似ています。幹は欧米などで品種改良され、豊富な品種があります。色鮮やかな花が人気の西洋ツツジです。根が細く、地表近くに浅く張るため乾燥しやすい為、水切れには注意です。暑さに弱い為、夏場に酷暑になる地域では鉢植えがおすすめです。

【育て方】
日当たりの良い場所を好みます。湿った土を好みますので、保水、排水のバランスの取れた土が良いです。自然樹形でまとまりますので、剪定は控えます。耐暑性が弱い為、西日が強く当たる場所は避けます。
