ローステッドメイプルとはメイプルを高温で加熱処理して材の中の水分や油分を揮発させることにより剛性を高めた材。ネックに使用されるとその効果は安定性だけでなくサウンドにも及び、豊かな生鳴りと経年変化したビンテージのようなこなれたトーンを生み出します。

トラディショナルなSSS配列のピックアップ
ローステッドメイプルを採用したRSMシリーズ第1弾として発表された『BST-2-RSM/M』はSSHレイアウトのピックアップを搭載しておりました。
今回、多くのユーザー様からのご要望にお答えし、伝統的なSTモデルのようなSSS配列のピックアップレイアウト、５wayセレクタースイッチを搭載したモデルを開発致しました。
これにより、枯れたようなハーフトーンやシャープなシングルコイルトーンなど、バラエティに富んだサウンドをお楽しみ頂けます。
