商品説明アメリカ生まれのジョン・ディックス氏は各国・備前等で修業され、丹波篠山の立杭で作陶されています。
見込みに大きな貝跡、かいらぎ、飴釉にも見える自然な釉薬が高温で窯変し美しい迫力のある造形の茶碗になります。
大体の大きさは、径：約１７ｃｍ、高さ：約９，５ｃｍ程度になります。

【プロフィール】
1960年　アメリカ・ミシガン州で生まれる
1982年　アルビオン大学を卒業し、
　　　　  ノースミシガン大学で陶芸を学ぶ
1983年　Terrestrial Forming Potteryで修業を積む
1985年　ギリシャ・クレタハニア工房で作陶する
1986年　エルサレム・キブツで作陶をする
1987年　Terrestrial Forming Potteryの
　　　　  マネージャーとして勤務する
1989年　来日し、滴翠窯にて修行を積む
1992年　備前焼・三上貫一に師事する
1994年　あんのん陶芸教室で主任講師をつとめる
1995年　篠山で大上窯を築く
1997年　大上窯の初窯焚きを行う
2008年　第7回益子陶芸展で入選する
2010年　田部美術館茶の湯造形展で入選する
