Z.VEX社ベストセラーディストーションペダルBox Of RockのVertical Seriesが登場しました。
BORは、クラッシックのJ45(全てのコントロールノブが10の設定)のサウンドを再現しています。
マーシャルとの相性が特に素晴らしいですが、多くの他のアンプとも効果的に使用することが出来ます。
ドライブノブをどこに設定しても、ギターのボリューム・コントロールでディストーションの量を調節でき、非常にクリアでクリーンなサウンドが得られます。
BORには非常大きなヘッドルームがあり、ユニティーから50倍までのゲイン・ブースターではインプット・インピーダンスもヒス音もわずかです。
SHO(Z.VEX Super Hard On)のブースト・サーキットに類似していますが、よりスタンダードなアンプのインプットに近く、ガラス質な耳障りな音も少なくなるよう改良されています。
"BOOST"チャンネルは単独でも、"DISTORTRON ENGINE"チャンネルとの併用でも使用することが可能です。
DiSTORTRONチャンネルの後段にBOOSTチャンネルがあるので、両方をONにするとより強く(大きな音量で)アンプにディストーションを送れることからソロなどをブーストする際に効果的です。
CONTROLS
BOOST：ブーストレベルを設定します。ブーストは、左側のフットスイッチと連動します。
*ドライブとブーストのコントロールは、オリジナルのSuper Hard Onゲインコントロールをベースにしているので、ノブを回したときにノイズが発生することがありますが異常ではありません。
VOLUME：ディストーションエンジンのボリュームレベルを調整します。
TONE：高音域の成分を調整します。
DRIVE：歪みの量を設定します。
