マホガニーボディ&ネック、ローズウッド指板といったウッドマテリアルにドッグイヤータイプのP-90ピックアップを1基のみ搭載という男気溢れる激渋仕様！
ラップアラウンドのテールピースや白頭のクルーソンスタイル・ペグを搭載したヴィンテージライクな仕様がなんとも言えない雰囲気です。
購入と同時にこのギターの本来の無骨なキャラクターと、ピカピカのグロス塗装のギャップに違和感を覚え、思い切ってエイジド加工を施したオンリーワン仕様のLes Paul Junior に仕上げました。
エイジドレリック加工はその道では有名なプロの工房に約12万円かけて仕上げて頂きましたので、とにかく雰囲気は抜群で、よくあるわざとらしさもなく、画像では伝わりにくいですが現物は本物のビンテージオールド感がぷんぷんする最高の仕上がりになっていますが、個体自体はほとんど弾いていない新品同様状態です。
もう一つのこの個体のセールスポイントは、おそらくこの個体の3.0kgという軽さは極めて珍しく、最軽量の部類だと思われます。もちろん個体重量は好みの分かれるところだとは思いますが、肩から下げて立って弾くライブのことを考えれば、取り回しの良い軽量個体に越したことはないですよね。
翌年の2019年以降の同モデルのネックはかなり極太になりますが、この限定モデルは50sスタイルをベースにしながらも厚すぎるということもなく適度なグリップ感を兼ね備えたなんとも言えない握りやすいネックシェイプ。
そしてヘッドのスクリプトロゴやネック裏のバナーロゴなど一味違うルックスを見せてくれるこの2018年限定モデルは、もう市場でもタマを見かける事もなくなりましたね。
