空気中の浮遊物質に付着した有害ガスに対する、「ストリーマ」の抑制効果を実証
空気中の微小な浮遊物質には、有害なガス状化学物質が付着していることが多く、空気清浄機の集塵フィルターで捕獲しても、付着しているガスは集塵フィルターから再飛散してしまいます。本商品に搭載している「ストリーマ」は、集塵フィルター上の物質に付着しているガスを分解し、集塵フィルターから再飛散されるガス状化学物質を24時間で98％以上抑制することを実証しました（試験方法：ガソリンエンジンから発生する濃度60mg/m3の粉塵を集塵フィルターで捕獲し、運転前後の機器吹出風のガス成分を測定比較。脱臭フィルターの効果は含まず。試験機はMCK70Pと同等機種MCK70Nを使用）。酸化分解力を持つ「ストリーマ」により、常に清潔な空気を部屋に供給します。
「きれいサーキュレーター」が温度ムラを軽減し、エアコン暖房時の快適性を向上
エアコンとの併用で空気の循環を促進する「きれいサーキュレーター」運転が、部屋の温度ムラを軽減します。本機能は、空気清浄機内部の温度センサーが室温の変化を感知し、必要に応じて自動で風量を切り換え、室内の空気を清浄しながら循環させます。本機能とエアコン暖房を併用した場合、併用しなかった場合に比べて、床上温度がエアコンの設定温度に到達するまでの時間を約10分短縮します（風量設定3、設定温度20℃のエアコンAN40PCPと、きれいサーキュレーター運転時のMCK70Pの併用運転において。14畳の部屋で室内外温度7℃、エアコンから約5m先の温度到達時間）。暖かい空気が部屋の上部に溜まって室内に温度ムラが生じるため、足元が寒くなりやすいというエアコン暖房時の現象を抑えます。また、本機能を上手に活用しながらエアコン暖房の設定温度を調節することで、節電にもつながります。
「新eco節電」機能を全機種に搭載
ホコリとニオイのダブルセンサーで部屋の空気の汚れ具合を監視し、空気がキレイな状態では運転を自動休止する新「eco節電」機能により、無駄な消費電力を抑えます。風量を「しずか」から「強」までの4段階で切り替えながら連続運転する「自動運転」に比べて、約43％の節電（1時間あたり約5.3Wh削減）を実現します。風量が控えめで運転音も静かな本機能で、寝室や書斎など静音性が求められる小さな部屋のニーズにも対応できるよう、コンパクトタイプも含め全機種に搭載しました。
